Individual Submission
Individual submissions must be entered for consideration by age category for judging purposes. Age Group is determinedby the age the child is on June 27, 2008. No exceptions please.
Age Groups are broken down as follows:
- Up to 6 Years Old
- 7 - 10 Years Old
- 11 - 13 Years Old
- 14 - 17 Years Old
Group Submission
Group Submissions must be entered with all group members listed upon entry. No members will be added or removed after entry is accepted. Ages of group members must be 17 Years Old or younger. Age is determined by the age the children are on June 27, 2008. No exceptions please.
School Classroom/Youth Group Submission
School Classroom/Youth Group submissions must be entered by a Teacher. Submission of student's names is optional. However, it is the responsibility of the teacher submitting the entry to secure individual permissions from parents or guardians of students to view their names as entrants and post photographs and video of the event on the Film Festival website and PEG Channel 25 broadcasts. This entry is for preschool, elementary, middle school and high school classrooms as well as organized youth groups and organizations.

Submission
Entry Form Deadlines
Early Entry
Entries postmarked by Monday, December 31, 2007 will be accepted for the Early Entry Fee. Those postmarked after December 31, 2007 will be contacted for the Standard Entry Fee difference.
Standard Entry
Entries postmarked Tuesday, January 1, 2008 to Friday, April 25, 2008 will be accepted for the Standard Entry Fee. Those postmarked after April 25, 2008 will be contacted for the Late Entry Fee difference.
Late Entry
Entries postmarked Saturday, April 26, 2008 to Friday June 6, 2008 will be accepted for the Late Entry Fee. Those postmarked after June 6, 2008 will be contacted on disqualification due to late receipt of entry.

Entry Process
The Entry Form must be filled out completely. Entry Form and Fee must be received together to be considered a Film Festival Entrant.
A confirmation email will be sent to the Film Festival Entrant upon receipt of the Entry Form and Fee.
Entrants will be assigned an Entry Number which will be mailed to the Film Festival Entrant with a video submission packet. The Entry Numbers will be sent out the week of June 9, 2008. For those who enter multiple entries each entry will receive its own Entry Number and video submission packet. The video Submission packet will contain:
- Bubble pack envelope for submission of video entry
- Film Detail Form to submit video name and a brief description of the video
- Details on the Film Festival including film schedule
Film Festival Entrants must submit their video and Film Detail Form and be postmarked by Friday, July 11, 2008.
What to Submit:
Submitted work must have been produced between August 1 2007 and July 11, 2008 and should be created by the child or children. Adult assistance can be provided with acting or handling video equipment under the direction of the child or children. Videos should be sent in DVD or Mini DV format only. The film must be no longer than 10 minutes in length. A preferred video length is 5 - 7 minutes.

Rules
- No returns allowed. Fees and films will not be returned.
- Multiple entires are allowed. No additional discounts will be given for multiple entires.
- Entires are limited to children only no entires will be accepted from anyone 18 or older.
- All entires become the property of the Village of Pleasant Prairie and will be publicly viewed at the Pleasant Prairie Children's Film Festival on Sunday, August 3, 2008. Submissions may also be shown on Village websites, internal television network on Village premises or PEG CHannel 25. Your submission provides the permission required to publicly show the video.
- Based on the number of entires not all prizes may be awarded.
- Please use a "G" rating when creating the video. A "G" rating signifies that the film contains nothing most partents will consider offensive for even their youngest children to see or hear. Nudity, sex scenes, violence and scenes of drug use are absent. Snippets of dialogue may go beyond polite conversation but do not go beyond common everyday expressions.
- No use of copyrighted materials without consent of its owners.
