Top Dog Challenge

Come on down to the Top Dog Challenge at Prairie Family Days this year! Every dog entrant gets a free exclusive Top Dog Challenge Bandana with a doggie bag to go. There are a variety of Top Dog Challenge categories to choose from.
Best Senior - Dogs 8+ Judges are looking for a dog that has a big personality and stands out amongst the rest.
Friendliest Dog - Judges are looking for a dog who is enthusiastic about meeting new people (example: lots of kisses, tail wagging, jumping and greeting the judges).
Best Dressed Judges are looking for a dog with a great costume, lots of spirit and personality. Extra points for creativity and originality.
Owner Look-a-Like - Judges looking for a dog that exhibits the same kind of traits like their owners. Extra points awarded for creativity and originality.
Fastest Eater - All dogs are placed behind the white line (being restrained by owners) and food is placed in front of the white line. When the whistle sounds the contestants are released. First dog to finish their food is declared Fastest Eater.
Most Ball/ Toy Crazy - Owners are allowed to bring one item for their dog (no food or treats)that makes them "crazy". Owners are given 30-45 seconds to prove how "crazy" their dog is for the item.
Best Trick - Owners will have 30-45 seconds to demonstrate their dog's best trick(s).

Ages: puppies 6 months old and dogs of all ages

Rules and Conditions

1. All dogs competing must be spayed or neutered and must not be aggresive towards other dogs or people.
2. Proof of rabies shot(s) and dog license is manatory for entry into the event.
3. Dogs who exhibit highly aggressive or insecure behaviors will not be allowed to compete.
4. All dogs must be collered and leased at all times. No leashes that extend more than 4 feet allowed.
5. All minors under the age of 18 must have a parent/legal guardian signature to compete. All participants under 14 years of age must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian to the Top Dog Challenge.
6. Any puppies competing must have had their full shots and comply to rule one regarding spaying and neutering.
7. No infant puppies. Puppies must be at least 6 months old.
8. Entry fee is $5.00 per dog.
